AMBIENTE
Rally di Roma Capitale is committed to reducing the environmental impact of motorsport events by promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness of ecological issues. In a global context of increasing concern over the environment and climate change, we feel a deep responsibility to minimize our footprint and show concrete dedication to sustainability.
Through conscious choices, we aim to inspire participants, partners, and other organizations to follow a virtuous example and help foster a culture that respects the environment.
To achieve these goals, we commit to:
Reducing waste production and, where possible, eliminating it by promoting reduction, reuse, and recycling.
Implementing waste separation systems and informing all stakeholders about correct disposal practices across all areas involved.
Establishing mandatory collection points in the Service Park and along Special Stages for the disposal of pollutants in dedicated containers.
Raising public awareness on the importance of responsible environmental behavior.
Together, we can contribute to a more sustainable future, both within motorsport and beyond.
The event embraces a proactive and practical approach to environmental responsibility through a series of targeted initiatives. Among these is the elimination of single-use plastic cups and bottles, replaced by eco-friendly alternatives such as paper cups and recyclable FIUGGI water bottles.
We also commit to reducing traditional car travel by encouraging the use of hybrid and electric vehicles, and by optimizing shared transportation options.
We invite everyone – participants, staff, and spectators – to support our mission by using the appropriate waste containers (compostable, recyclable, general waste) and taking any remaining trash with them when leaving the competition areas.
We firmly believe that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. Reducing our impact is essential for safeguarding the planet, increasing environmental awareness, and promoting sustainable habits in motorsport and society alike.
