24.06.2020 – News and updates are flowing fast when only one month is left ahead of the Rally di Roma Capitale 2020, the event scheduled for July 24th to 26th.
The opening round of the FIA European Rally Championship 2020 Championship and the Italian Rally 2020 Championship will also be valid as Rally Stars Roma Capitale, the event dedicated to WRC+ cars. The highest level of modern rally cars will be celebrated by an initiative devised by Max Rendina and all the Motorsport Italia’s staff to make the Rally di Roma Capitale an event delivering a restart message for the whole rallying sector.
Rally Stars Roma Capitale will have its special classification and a different winner from the Rally di Roma Capitale that is open to R5 cars. The Rally Stars Roma Capitale cars will proceed the cars and crews entered in the FIA ERC and CIR for a big opening on the same itinerary going from the spectacular start from Castel Sant’Angelo to all the stages in Ciociaria and around the Capital.
Hyundai Motorsport has been the first team to join this initiative.
